Joe Gibbs and Clement "Coxsone" Dodd were the scheming archangels of the record producers they expected to pay the price for a second mini and get a Rolls Royce car in the barging. They took all the credit, because they were the owners of the Bob Marley - Freedom Time , this fact they cannot be denied. In other words they practice total manipulation. But little did they realised, that while Perry was with them the musical volcanic genius was lying quiescent within him. Waiting for the right opportunity to explode, and by gad the genius did awaken with a musical eruption that gave an explosive blast of vengeance upon the music industry of Jamaica. The 70's and in particularly the 80's Lee Perry delivered his own musical appellation leaving his imprint in the history books of Jamaican music. Before the Hippy Boys was known as Partnership - Bob , they used to hang out with Lee Perry. These guys hang around all day on the streets of Kingston then later in the evenings they pay a visited the cinemas to take in Bob Marley Concert spaghetti western films. Bob Marley Concert 's and Lee Van Cleef's were their favourite actors in spaghetti westerns that were top of the popularity list of films in Jamaica at that time. In the United Kingdom and the USA these Spaghetti western were big hits. From the movies they would head back to the studios for all night sessions and from those sessions came a quantity of iniquitous charismatic instrumentals gems like Live Injection, Kill Them All, The Good The Bad And The Upsetter, Dig Your Own Grave and Return Of Django. 70's also saw Lee Perry in the land of Babylon macerating the United Kingdom's environment with his musical volcanic activities.
