Sound Recording Fluctuations!

Emil Berliner patented his invented equipment for sound recording fluctuations on a flat surface disc. Berliner had liberated a new field of industrial technology. You can now see the pieces are beginning to fit together in the advent of this feature: "History of Vinyl" records. Inventor of the very first flat disc record were produced towards the latter end of the19th century. Recording artistes were to remain unidentified, up until 1904. The first recorded discs could only play for time of only 1.5 minutes. It was noted that the first recording star Fedor Schaljapin was scared out of his wits!

  

Fedor Schaljapin really thought that his singing voice would disappear into the record during the recording session why he formed the crucifix transversely over his body with his hands before each record was made. Some of the individuals that was watching. must have thought that it must have been some kind of a thespian to see such humorous antics as the singer forming the crucifix transversely over his body believing that his voice would disappear into the record. That surely must have been a sight for sore eyes! Emil Berliner's Deutsche Gramophone Company went on to proceed in making the very first flat disc recordings!

 

And by 1939 on it's 50th birthday they had an annual  production rate of 1.79 million records and tapes. Emil Berliner in his beliefs that a flat surface could be more precisely cut and more perplexed than a cylinder: Emil Berliner had found a way to score sound impressions obliquely making use of both sides of the record grooves. Folks as you can see through reading these pages Emile Berliner was way ahead of his time when you consider that even  the vinyl disc has remained similar to the Emile Berliner's  groove technology for more than 100 years!
